Herstmonceux Castle is the oldest brick building of note still standing in England. With its majestic beauty reflected in the tranquil moat together with themed and formal gardens to stroll around, it is an impressive sight for the first-time visitor. There are also woodland walks and nature trails to explore plus castle tours (subject to availability). The Castle is host to a wide variety of events including the annual Medieval Fair, the largest of its kind in the UK.
