Outstanding Model Village set in 2 acres of manicured gardens, packed with 2,000+ conifers, model houses & quirky Islanders!

In the grounds of the Old Vicarage in Godshill, visitors will be enchanted by the beautiful Model Village and gardens. This attraction is one of the Islands secret charms and the perfect place to escape the busy world outside.

This unique business has been run by the same family for 50 years and is home to an array of handcrafted model buildings. Visitors can explore Godshill and Shanklin Old Village in miniature, including houses, churches and pubs, as well as quirky figures depicting Island life from days gone by. 

Gardeners will be fascinated by the unusual ornamental trees and shrubs which have been specially manicured to keep in scale with the model houses. The years of dedicated work have earned special recognition from the Royal Horticultural Society and the Model Village is an RHS Partner Garden.

Visitors are invited to take up the Quiz challenge or Spot the Squirrels hidden around the garden.
