The Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum is a charitable trust, entirely 100% run by volunteers. Our aim is to be as inclusive to everyone to enjoy the history of road public transport on the Island. Wherever possible, we allow visitors to board and 'feel' the exhibits. Plus we have a large social history section and a room for the smaller visitors to enjoy colouring and playing at transport.
We are currently one of the top recommended sites in Ryde on Trip Advisor!
Accessibility Information
We have disabled parking and disabled toilet. The building is completely flat floor and accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Internal access to many of the older vehicles is restricted owing to design constraints.
