This great family safe sandy beach is perfect for sandcastle building and exploring rock pools

This completely tidal long stretch of sandy beach provides an excellent opportunity for sandcastle building, combined with exploring rockpools, making it an ideal place for children and adults to visit. 

When the tide is in, the beach is not exposed but don’t worry, the promenade and grass area provide a base. 

In need of refreshments? On the promenade you will find a cafe offering breakfast, lunches, ice cream, main meals with a restaurant above offering a stunning view of the sunset or admire the colourful beach huts.  A kiosk is available for refreshments and beach essential - bucket, spade

Across the road is a public house with occasional weekend music 

Dog ban in place from 1st May until 30th September, with dogs not permitted from 10am - 6pm.
