This stunning wetland nature reserve full of amazing wildlife is also home to a collection of ducks, geese and swans from wetlands around the world.

Arundel Wetland Centre is part of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, a charity saving wetlands for wildlife and people.

Arundel Wetland Centre manages wild habitats to support Sussex wildlife and bring visitors nose to beak with nature with a collection of ducks and geese from wetlands around the world.

The best way to experience wetlands is on the water of the Wetlands Discovery Boat safari. Glide effortlessly through the reeds to see nature at its most tranquil. Boats are wheelchair accessible.

Every day at 2pm, our sea ducks show off their diving brilliance as they zip through the water after a fishy treat at the Diving Duck Feed. The clear, chalk-filtered water gives great views of these underwater acrobats competing for fish.

Go pond dipping to fish out wild wonders in our fabulous Pond Explorer Station with the WWT Learning team on hand to help ID your catch

The rich scents of drying wetland plants surround you in the beautiful thatched Wetland Secrets Plant House. Explore the traditional use of wetland plants as food, medicine and more inside.

On the Reedbed Boardwalk the wooden decks and bridges immerse you in a peaceful world of towering reeds among the summer warblers and dancing dragonflies.  In winter watch out for starling murmurations, roosting wagtails and majestic marsh harriers on the wing.

The wetland centre runs a full schedule of family events in holidays and
on weekends. The pond dipping station is open Apr-Oct manned by the excellent Learning Team with a video-scope to magnify the creatures you find! Added to this are two adventure playgrounds, the Water’s Edge Cafe serving hot meals from 12-2pm and a gift shop with unique take-home treats.
