The Alex Café Bar & Brasserie is part of Yeo Group - a group of individual venues in Felixstowe known particularly for their friendly and “can do” style of service. The Café Bar on the ground floor, offers a full range of drinks plus a menu featuring delightful breakfasts, brunch, café meals and bar snacks, produced with passion in the open kitchen, by the busy brigade of chefs. Open all day, seven days a week, 364 days of the year, The Café Bar makes the perfect place to sample a cocktail or two with friends after work, meet up with family for a leisurely weekend brunch, share weekday elevenses and a catch-up, or chill out on the large heated patio overlooking the sea, with a jug of Southwold or enjoy a warming hot chocolate and piece of cake, earned after a bracing walk along the prom. The Alex Brasserie occupies the first floor of The Alex (lift access), thus affording it a magnificent panoramic sea view of Felixstowe’s south beach, the principality of Sealand, and one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes. The a la carte is short and sweet and is complemented by specials boards displaying a host of chefs’ inspirations. Sundays are of course dominated by a choice of roasts with all the trimmings.
