Blackdog Events putting Antiques back in the Market Place!
Blackdog Events is a sister company to Blackdog Antiques and is based in a 16C Grade II* listed building at the top of the historic Market Place in Halesworth where it holds three specialist markets each year starting with the Spring Garden Market, October Food & Drink Market and the Traditional Christmas Food, Drink & Artisan Market.
Blackdog Events also runs a monthly Brocante (antique & vintage fair) in Halesworth on the first Saturday of each month March - December. In 2018 it held it's first 'Grand Brocantes' in the stunning park land at Glemham Hall, Suffolk. The event played host to 75 Antique & Vintage Dealers and had a separate food village with local food & drink producers which together with buskers providing musical entertainment made for a great day out. With over 2000 visitors through the gate it was decided to organise two at Glemham Hall in 2019 as well as adding a new venue which is Riddlesworth Hall in Norfolk. Riddlesworth Hall is now run as an independent school and lists Lady Diana Spencer as one of it former pupils. Both Glemham and Riddlesworth have beautiful grounds and make the perfect setting for a large antiques event.
Two other very popular events organised by Blackdog are the Bungay Antiques Street Fair and the Haleswoth Antiques Street Fair both of which have been established over twenty years and are probably the two biggest Antiques Street Fairs in Suffolk.
