Butterfly Cottage at Orwell View Barns provides excellently for children, with a large heated games barn, including table tennis, snooker and a pre-school play area. The football meadow is hugely popular, as is the hot tub! Reconnect with nature and escape everyday life whilst delighting in the wonderful riverside walks past hidden creeks and shell beaches to Pin Mill. Marsh harriers, buzzards, kestrels and owls are seen regularly. The popular walk to the riverside shell beach is only 6 minutes from Butterfly across the fields.We have one individually designed ground floor luxury eco cottage, with well-appointed kitchen, sleeping 6). Two bedrooms are ensuite the other has its own bathroom with very high quality, super king beds (or twins) for a great night’s sleep. The river views from the terrace are awesome!Beaches at Felixstowe, Jimmy’s Farm, Alton Water (sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, cycle hire) and Constable Country are all within 30 minutes. Horse riding is just down the road, a 5 minute drive. Why not take the Shotley foot/cycle ferry across the estuary to Harwich & Felixstowe or barge and river trips from Ipswich
