An elegant Georgian mansion and former gentlemen’s retreat, The Wold Cottage was lovingly restored from near-derelict condition in 1989 by Derek and Katrina Gray who have been providing extraordinary accommodation ever since.

Six rooms are accessed via a stunning tree-lined drive, guiding guests from everyday stresses to an idyllic escape set within 200 acres of farmland and immaculate, alluring grounds including feature pond, orchard and rose garden.

Individually designed and furnished to a high standard, rooms accommodate superior double, twin, family and single occupancy.  In an enchanting nod to our rich history, suites are named after former owners of the house over the centuries.  The exquisite décor is in keeping with this period property: guests may enjoy the grandeur of a four-poster bed, antique furniture and bejewelled chandeliers. Georgian delights are complemented by the comforts of modern living: en suite, free wi-fi, memory-foam mattresses; 100% Egyptian cotton bedding and towels and monogrammed dressing gowns.
