A gorgeous thatched pub close to Blandford Forum

Situated on the A31 between Poole and Dorchester, the World’s End is owned by local MP Richard Drax, who also owns the surrounding Charborough Estate.  The original part of the pub dates back to the 14th Century and was once the oldest pub in Dorset; however it was sympathetically rebuilt in 1991 after a fire, so although it looks 400 years old, it isn’t. Combining a traditional interior with an extensive outside patio area, it’s a great place to visit all year round.
