Steeped in history with amazing views to the Isle of Portland
Built in the 13th Century, the Smugglers Inn is located right by the sea in Osmington Mills and was one of the main landing places for smuggled goods in the 17th Century and indeed, was the headquarters of the French smuggler Pierre Latour.
With views to the Isle of Portland and created by joining three fisherman’s cottages together, there’s a good chance due to coastal erosion that the Smugglers won’t be around by 2068, so be sure to pay a visit while you can!
