Brewery Tour Experience

Award winning, hand-crafted ales from Devon. The core range of ales include Devon Amber, Seahorse, Lifesaver, Gold, Shingle Bay and Salcombe Pale Ale. The Brewhouse has stunning views of the Devon hills towards the Salcombe Estuary and sits on a decommissioned water reservoir, which creates the perfect ambient temperature for storing ales. The site also has its own borehole which can provide the brewery with its own water. 

Take a brewery tour to find out more how these delicious, artisan ales are created, meet the brewers and enjoy beer samplings in the bar afterwards. Brewery tours take place on Thursday's, weekly during the high season and monthly during the Winter. Tickets cost £10 and are available to buy online or in the Brewery Shop. Brewery tour vouchers are also available. The Brewery Shop is open Monday to Friday 10.00 – 16.00 and Saturday's 10.00 - 14.00 and offers the full range of beers and merchandise including gift packs to take the Salcombe flavour home. 

Salcombe Brewery Co. is proud of its local surroundings and uses the seahorse as a main feature of its branding and even named one of the beers after this sea creature. This is representative of the fact that the Salcombe Estuary is known to have both species of the British seahorse living in its waters; the short-snouted and the spiny seahorse. The Brewery donates 5p of every Seahorse bottle sold to The Seahorse Trust to look after these incredible sea creatures.
