Blackpool Sands is one of the most popular family beaches on this stretch of coast. A privately owned crescent of coarse golden shingle set in a sheltered bay amongst evergreens and pines in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). 

Blackpool Sands is an award winning beach for water quality to – so you know you and your children are in safe hands.

Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months (July to September), they’re sand pits for building sandcastles, a shop and a Venus cafe serving organic and local food. Water sports equipment is available for hire.

First Aid facilities also available. No dogs from March to October.
