The Parks is a 4 star Grade II listed property in a quiet area of Minehead 5 minutes walk from the town centre

Minehead is a lively seaside town and an ideal base for exploring Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills, whether by car, on foot or cycling.  The South West Coast Path starts in Minehead and continues via Lands End for more than 600 miles to Poole in Dorset. 

We welcome guests setting out to walk all or part of this path.  Once you have finished your walk, there are plenty of wonderful tea rooms in Minehead and around Exmoor where it is possible to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Minehead is also home to the West Somerset Steam Railway, a heritage line running for 20 miles along the Somerset coast and the foothills of the Quantocks.  Dunster Castle, a National Trust property, is located in Dunster Medieval village only 3 miles from Minehead.  At The Parks all our rooms have an en-suite shower room, together with a TV/DVD player with Freeview, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk available and a hair dryer.  

Guests can enjoy a hearty Exmoor breakfast with many ingredients sourced locally, including homemade granola.There is a private off-road car park at the rear of the property. We have a mixture of double, twin and family rooms spread over the ground, first and second floors.  Some of the double rooms have superking beds.  Single occupancy is available.  Dogs are welcome for a small additional charge of £5 per night.

Accessibility Information

We have one ground floor room, which is ideal for guests who are less able and in particular find it difficult to manage steps.  Guests who need to use a wheelchair within the room may find it difficult to manoeuvre around the room and into the bathroom.  Full details of the accessibility of this room and other areas of the guest house can be found on our website.
