The Hungry Gannet | Scrumptious British Dishes with flair

Designed by Rosette-winning chef Andy Houghton, the menu at The Gannet features British classics with a Cornish twist alongside plenty of real ales and log fires when the weather is cold or wet! Best of all, it’s served with plenty of traditional Cornish hospitality, creating a gorgeous, boutique feel to the restaurant. 

Our primary focus is on local produce, creating a menu that is best described as hearty. Firm favourites with our diners include the classics such as homemade chicken kiev and beer-battered pollock, as well as scrumptious puddings such as the traditional sticky toffee pudding or the more quirky popcorn panna cotta delight.

The Hungry Gannet is part of The Gannet hotel, but you are welcome to dine even if you aren’t staying over. Beyond the hotel, there is access to the South West Coast Path for any avid walkers, and it is a brief trip into the centre of St Ives which boasts a picturesque fishing harbour, narrow cobbled streets, a maze of independent shops, eateries and activities, all in a small town that's been voted in the top ten beach locations in Europe by TripAdvisor.
