Discover England's only grade 1 listed pier

Clevedon Pier celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2019, located on the eastern shore of the Severn Estuary in the seaside town of Clevedon, Somerset. It was described by Sir John Betjeman, as "the most beautiful pier in England" and was designated a Grade I listed building in 2001.

The pier was built during the 1860s to attract tourists and provide a ferry port for rail passengers to South Wales. The pier is 312 m (1,024 ft) long and consists of eight spans supported by steel rails covered by wooden decking, with a pavilion on the pier head.

The  pier also features a small museum with hands on exhibits to entertain all ages. A unique porthole room with spectacular views under the pier. Award winning food and drink from either the original Pagoda cafe at the end of the pier or the new fish restaurant at the landward end. View more than 14,000 plaques remembering everything from a visit by One Direction to many special occasions and loved ones
