Why is 2023 Year of the Coast?
2023 celebrates our breath-taking coastline and celebrates a year-long programme of events occurring around the whole of England’s coast including various new sections of the England Coast Path opening. On completion it will be arguably the longest and most challenging National Trail at more than 2,700 miles, passing through some of our finest countryside and coastal locations - a reason to celebrate!
