Grade II Listed former Victorian post office, now a family owned and run AA Four-Star Gold bed and breakfast. Three individually designed, luxurious and comfortable rooms, with quality furnishings and an emphasis on excellent hospitality and attention to detail. Extras include homemade cake on arrival, Nespresso coffee machines, bathrobes and much more! All rooms are en-suite with walk-in power showers (one located on the ground floor). Free Wifi, private off-street parking and storage for bicycles/motorcycles. Walker-friendly. Our award-winning breakfasts are freshly prepared and cooked-to-order using the best of local produce including the famous Craster kippers. We are vegetarian and vegan friendly, also gluten-free/dairy-free diets catered for, with prior notice. There is a secluded garden with seating where you can relax in the warmer months after a long walk or a busy days’ sightseeing with a glass of Pimms, wine or a beer.

Accessibility Information

Guest entrance is at the rear of the property, with private parking for three cars. One ground floor double (ideal for mobility and walking difficulties but not wheelchair accessible). Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children under 15 years. No family rooms. All showers are walk-in.
