Museum of archives from past 100 years & vintage tearoom

We are a voluntary ran organisation , for the community and have won award for our outstanding inspirational work within the village, we also have regular visitors from as far afield as Hexam , and Durham along with or local visitors. We also have documents (ie Blueprunts) going back to 1001  of when the mine was first sunk.  and docments from the Diocese of Newcastle when our first Catholic school was built.And hundreds of archives and photographs to look at. And a warm welcome into our tearoom where we are proud to serve everything on china crockery. Home made Fayre too.
