The finest view of Warkworth Castle is from a kayak on the river!

We run regular guided tours from Amble round the ancient town of Warkworth on a range of kayaks or canoes - sit-on-tops, seakayaks, singles and doubles. To make it easy, we take the rising tide up the river and come back with the ebb. You'll find out about the history of the estuary, see the birds and wildlife, and gain basic paddling skills.

No experience is needed and everything is provided. Showers are available as well.

We also hire out paddling craft on the lake at Druridge Bay Country Park (3 miles south of Amble) and provide paddling or sailing tuition.

Accessibility Information

All our premises are wheelchair friendly and we have wide range of craft to cater for those with disabilities. We are both Sailability and Paddle Ability accredited, and most of our staff have done disability training.
