Budle Bay is a wonderous place, the shallow estuary is almost totally enclosed, and it is used by many species of wildlife as winter roosting territory

Budle Bay is  part of Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve. In winter, there are thousands of wildfowl waders who spend their time on the bay's mud flats which are exposed at low tide. 

Enjoy this one mile stretch of sand and take a stroll down Northumberland's Coast Path.
