Maritime museum tells the story of Liverpool's historic waterfront

Based at the Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool. The Museum is filled with 1000s of objects and displays associated with the social and commercial history of the port of Liverpool. Ship models, paintings, colourful posters from the golden age of liners and even some full sized vessels can be found alongside major displays including Lusitania: Life, Loss, Legacy and Titanic and Liverpool: The untold story. Visitors should note that Titanic and Liverpool will be closed from 6 January to 28 March 2020 when it will re-open to coincide with the brand new Life on board gallery. The Museum also houses the International Slavery Museum on the third floor, as well as the Border Force's national museum Seized! The border and customs uncovered in the basement.
